The players who played Steve Beaton were:  Fred Burton, Lee Steele, Tony Adams, John Fraser, Vince Walsh, Paul Gynne, Chris Wills, Tom Powell, Trigger and Simon Lissenden.

Although there were some very good games one was outstanding, Simon Lissenden played Steve whilst kneeling down and with a start like 100, 140, 100, 121 he was well in front and checked out on double twenty to beat Steve who was amazed at the way Lissenden played on his knee’s.
