SHEPPEY SUMMER TREBLE BOARD LEAGUE PRESENTATION NIGHT 8^th SEPTEMBER 2005

The Treble Board League welcomed Andy Belton the winner of the 3^rd Sheppey Darts Classic back to Sheppey to give us a demonstration of his skills as a darts player and also to present the trophy’s to all the league winners.

The evening started with the open singles final between Trevor Wynnes from the Harps Inn and Vince Walsh from the Nore.Walsh went into an early lead winning the first legbut Wynnes came back and won the second, the next two legs were nip and tuck with one each but Walsh showed his strength by following Wynnes 140 with two of his own and then the double top to win the match. 

We then went into the exhibition with Andy Belton who played eight of our league winners followed by three players drawn at random with the raffle.  First to play was Tony Adams who set the standard by beating Andy, the other players to beat Andy were Geoff Harkup, Ricky O’Brien and Vince Walsh the unlucky players were Dave Thompson, Simon Lissenden, John Fraser, Lee Steele, Fred Burton, Paul Austin, and Mat Robson. 

This was one of Andy’s first exhibitions and he put on a great show so we be seeing him back in the near future.
